Birmingham Lions

Lions secured their second consecutive undefeated National Championship after beating the Loughborough Aces 27 – 16 in a hard fought game at Sixfields Stadium Northampton. This brings the Lions record over the last two season as 24 – 0 with two National Championships to add to first in 2005. Three touchdowns from Andy Watson and one from Sarunas Babonas coupled with an outstanding defensive performance, including MVP honours for DE Kyle Burrows, who terrorised the Aces backfield all game, pushed LionAir to another championship performance.
