After a great week on campus recruiting, multiple hundreds of folks called by the stand and spoke to players & coaches during this past week. Over 130 at the first session and over 90 this past Sunday with a few vets away this weekend. 

Coach Tony commented “great work again by the committee/players recruiting hard all this past week on campus. Their is huge interest in our programme not just from a playing point of view but from on-campus media. medic’s etc who wish to join our programme and contribute, having the national title trophy on display all week at our stand definitely helped our recruiting. We have had a great first week of practices, superb tempo, very high level of enthusiasm and energy. What impressed me most on Sunday was our pure overall size and speed, we have probably the best ‘athlete’ recruitment of all my time here. Sunday practice on offense if we dropped half a dozen balls during practice I would be shocked, the rookies stepped up and it was hard to separate the returning player from the rookie. Defensively, purely talent in all areas, they are hungry and made very few mistakes if any during skelly and team periods. Some talented specialist too, kicking, punting, long snappers, returners all looked very good – competition for starting positions begins, and we are all looking forward to it”
